چکیده
In this paper, perlite mining and rice production by-products, namely run-of-mine husk ash, are used as fine aggregates in combination with pumice calcareous to produce lightweight concrete. Their use is evaluated mainly terms of the durability concrete, by comparing four optimized concrete mixtures similar density strength a reference one normal weight. The sorptivity due capillary sorption, open porosity, chloride migration, penetration resistance, freeze thaw response were studied evaluate According experimental results, examined developed an adequate order be classified into classes greater than LC25/28 and, therefore, structural applications. was also sufficient, especially far chlorides’ resistance concerned, which found up 39% lower compared mixture. porosity LWC increased porous nature aggregates, susceptible cycles. Exceptionally, comprising exhibited standard promising tolerance freezing thawing. Thus, sustainable recommendation for use, promoting wider exploitation natural acceptable compromise on durability.

متن کاملCombine Use of Fly Ash and Rice Husk Ash in Concrete to Improve its Properties (RESEARCH NOTE)
This research paper describes the study of combined effect of Fly Ash (FA) and Rice Husk Ash (RHA) on properties of concrete as partial replacement of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC). These by-products are having high pozzolanic reactivity. In this research, the composition of mix was used with 10% RHA along with 10, 20 and 30% FA as partial replacement of cement. In this study, the compressive ...

In studies conducted to determine the workability of concrete, the bagasse ash and rice husk ash were added as a partial replacement for cement. Trial mixes with the varying water cement ratio, replacement percentage, quantity of super plasticizer and viscosity modifying agent, were prepared and tested. The results were used as the basis for defining three optimum cement replacement mix proport...
